The last time I read, or rather re-read a book by Naomi Klein, I was enjoying one of the first hot days of summer by a lake. Unfortunately, the day ended rather poorly, or you could even say shocking, when I had to be rushed to the hospital for a heart condition. When I finally went home ten days later, it seemed as if the world had changed as I first heard about Edward Snowden. I’m pretty sure I was unconscious when that story first broke and it took a couple days to figure out what the heck was going on.

Today I am reading her latest book at the same time snow is coming down and it’s about thirty five degrees colder than it was yesterday.

Anyways, I’m just giving Medium a go for the first time.
